FTX Management Sets Creditor Claims Deadline
FTX’s new management sets September 29, 2023, as the deadline date for submitting proof of claims via the designated portal.

The new management of FTX has announced a new date for the creditors’ claims. The new deadline is approximately ten days away during which users will have to submit their claims. FTX claims that the given time frame is a reasonable timespan in which FTX is going to streamline the claims of the users. Moreover, creditors were advised to ensure that they submit their proof of claims. Defunct cryptocurrency exchange, FTX got approval to liquidate the assets and opened its claims portal for the creditors to facilitate and repay the creditors.
Deadline to File Proof of Claims
FTX has informed all customers via tweet to submit the proof of the claims by the date disclosed by the new management of FTX. Management urges the claimants to verify their data and account balances from 11th November 2022 when the exchange went bankrupt.

According to the portal page of the defunct FTX, users can avail themselves of multiple options. Customers can file individual claims, claims for other accounts, multiple accounts claims and even get a customer code. It is directed that those customers having multiple accounts will have to file separate claims for each account.
How to File Claims?
Upon filing claims, users will have to log in with the proper username and password. FTX offered the customers that they could initiate the Know Your Customer (KYC) feature. On the other hand, customers will not need KYC on a verified level to submit the claim.

FTX clarified that the last date for submitting the proof of claims is the 29th of September 2023 and afterwards validation process and KYC scrutiny will not be facilitated. For KYC verification, the customer will have to submit the details like CNIC, business and tax identification number.
