SBF Considers to Hire Expert Witness for $1200 Per Hour
SBF’s hired expert witness will provide evidence related to finance laws, scrutinize the terms and condition and justifies the FTX’s operations.

Sam Bankman-Fried aka SBF, the disgraced ex-founder of FTX considers hiring an expert witness on his behalf to lead the case. He wants someone efficient enough to testify his case on his behalf. He has in his mind to pay a handsome amount of $1200 hourly to the expert witness for his efficient services. The expert’s job description is to provide evidence related to finance laws, scrutinize the terms and condition and justifies the FTX’s operations.
SBF Nominates 7 Names for Expert Witness
According to recent report came o 31st of August 2023, SBF is considering to nominate seven names of expert from which one to aid him in the fraud trials. He allegedly claimed to pay a handsome amount of $1200 hourly to the expert to justify his case in his behalf. This news spread after the delay of SBF next trial from October 2023 to March 2024.
Judge Kaplan commented that this delay gives enough time to SBF to go through the details of the case and to collect evidence to protect himself. Lawyers of SBF emphasized the stance that such disclosed evidence and delay can create hurdles in the fair trial of the SBF case.
Need of Expert Witness
Last month, prosecutors added an extra 4 million leaves of evidence to the stack which is negative for the case as claimed by the SBF lawyers. Moreover, it was reported that federal prosecutors of the US are trying to prevent it from happening to be expert witnesses hired by SBF.

The lawyers of SBF claimed that the government is not supposed to dump such a massive amount of pages before just six weeks of the trial. Keeping the whole scenario in mind, SBF has the only best strategy to defend himself by hiring an expert witness. SBF hopes to find an expert witness, efficient enough to help him out amid crucial times. For which, SBF has in mind to pay hourly $1200 to that competent witness.
