Tether’s CTO Doesn’t Disclose Bitcoin Mining Sites

Tether’s CTO preferred not to disclose the location of their ongoing operation of BTC mining but gave a hunch that could be located somewhere in Latin America.

Tether (stablecoin issuer) has been recently found taking interest in Bitcoin (BTC) mining. This curiosity was spread due to a post on Twitter by Tether’s CTO (Chief Technology Officer) that signals about Bitcoin mining. Paolo Ardoino, the CTO at Tether, preferred not to disclose the exact location of their ongoing operation of Bitcoin mining but gave a hunch that could be located somewhere in Latin America.

Tether CTO’s Controversial Tweet

Paolo Ardoino, the Chief Technology Officer of stablecoin issuer crypto firm USDT, has been in words regarding his shared image on Twitter. He shared images of containers with the logo of Tether on Twitter and has become the word of mouth for Bitcoin mining.  On being asked about the location of Bitcoin mining he preferred not to disclose the exact location.

On the 26th of August, Paolo Ardoino shared his view on Twitter in which he talked about the images of containers with Tether logon on his he shared on the 24th of August 2023. The images made many people wonder what to come next as images were the photoshopped logo of the Tether energy on the containers.

CTO’s Response to Inquiries

Ardoino gave his stance about the share images that Tether Energy is going to start a Bitcoin mining operation. He received many inquiries about the exact time and location of the setup upon which he gave his response. He neither disclosed the exact date to operationalize the Bitcoin mining system nor the exact location. He raised the curiosity of the followers by giving them a wild hunch that they might be located somewhere in Latin America.

The crypto community asked various questions and said that if he is not going to share the details, they are not going to believe the claim. He addressed those people and said that it was the collaborative media team to work on it and to give hints about the upcoming plans of Tether Energy.
